Peek a boo!

Hudson really got the hang of peek-a-boo in Cabo. This video not only makes me laugh (especially how long Hudson makes you wait before the payoff), but I showed it to Hudson several times today and he had a gigantic case of the giggles every time. As it turns out, peek-a-boo really never gets old!

Hudson's Morning

Hudson and I had a great morning, taking a long walk and then...

Played on the playscape,


Played on the Big Boy Slide (making mommy very nervous but making Hudson show no fear),


Tried numerous times to join a game of basketball on the court (but settling for watching intently for 20 minutes),


Tried numerous more times to get in on a little ball action with another group,


And finally, had spaghetti and a meatball at Mandola's and found out they give free gelato with kids meals - Danger!

Then Hudson had a nice long nap and then went to the Children's Museum with Miss Sarah while Mommy worked. And finally mommy took him to swimming lessons.

We decided that even though it was a super fun day, we might split it into three or four days next time. :)

Fun in Cabo

We just got back from Cabo with Kendra's siblings and their families. We had such a great time, and so did Hudson spending time with his cousins!

Taking a Break

Nice to take a break from the waves and sand to get a snack and some shade under the palapas at Chillenos Beach.

Love the Waves

Hudson loves the ocean. He squeals as the wave crash in. He also particularly liked scooping up sand between the waves and tossing it over his shoulder onto Daddy's head and shoulders. :)

Our Fountain

Our villa has an outside fountain in the entry which Hudson fell in love with before we could even get the door open the first day. It had been a long day of travel so we just stripped him down and let him have fun as the bellman took our bags into the house. Each day we have had to at least put a hand in as we went out or in the door.

HappyBoy

Hudson had a great first day and was so excited to play out on the patio before bed. He actually stayed up later than at home and by the 4th day slept in til 7AM.(8AM Texas time) Yippee!!!

Hudson fell asleep on our first flight leg to Cabo and stayed asleep through the airport and tram. I guess running through the Austin airport really takes a toll!

We leave for Cabo in the morning, so we thought we'd better put up our photos of Montauk up before we leave! We had such a great time that we can't wait to hit the beach again!

Hudson makes a Call

While in Montauk, Hudson showed us that he now know what to do with our iPhones. He hasn't quite figured out how to dial, but he know what to say. :)

Hudson still love the park! He especially loves playing with all the gravel and using it to bang on the poles. Super fun!

We went on a little road trip this morning to Snow's BBQ in Lexington, Texas. Hudson agreed that you didn't even need his newly acquired teeth to eat their delicious brisket, our favorite item. The ribs were also super fun and delish!

We just left Montauk, but first we had to say bye bye to the beach and the back lawn where we spent so many hours on the boardwalk, at the pool, on the swings and cooking out. It was so fun, and we are happy to say the Hudson Loves The Beach (and was such a good boy and a hit among our friends)!

The housekeepers were so sweet to Hudson, and he loved helping them push the laundry carts down the Deck. (See the peek-a-boo view of the ocean over the rose bush? Beautiful!)

Hudson was so excited to finally reach the beach in Montauk, NY after a long travel day. He immediately ran down to the water and squealed with delight when the first wave splashed his legs.
