Hudson still has one top front tooth that hasn't popped. So everything
is a teething prospect - drumsticks at our last drum music class work
just fine!

Look who woke up on the right side of the bed
A 2.5 hr nap will do crazy things with your hair, but it sure does
create a happy boy.

Laughing at the rings
I love making Hudson laugh. It truly brings me joy and I can repeat whatever is tickling him for as long as he'll let me. Here I'm just rolling his rings across the coffee table to him over and over and over again.

Trying to find my book
It's just so hard to find a favorite book. :)

I love my toys
I am not sure Hudson could have surrounded himself with more toys this
morning. He basically emptied the toy box one toy at a time until it
was empty and the just laid there playing.

Front row at bubble time
When the bubbles came out, Hudson ceased to remember I existed. He was
front and center, eyes on the bubbles!

A big day
It all started with the morning nap. Hudson wasn't hearing a thing about it.
But as it turned out, he just had a lot on his mind.
Tonight, when I came home from work, Hudson stood up and took about 5 steps towards me. His previous record of the last month is 1 step, but now he advanced to the PLURAL number of steps all the way to five!
He was so smiley and cute. Christine and I looked at each other, not believing it. Of course I'm sad, since this officially signifies the end of "baby" and onto "toddler." I'd rinse and repeat the whole thing over and over again if I could. But he's such a good boy that we'll forgive him for growing up so fast.

Good morning!
Getting a morning photo is so hard, since Hudson is so busy! But he
was nice enough to look up for 3 seconds from ball popping, book
reading, cup stacking and fridge magnet playing. We love mornings in
our jammies!
