Very Busy Morning

Hudson was all smiles and all business this morning. Had to do the rings over and over. Stack cups over and over. Then back to the rings. :)

Poppin' & Smilin'

Also can't start the day without a long session with the ball popper.

A Good Laugh

Hudson loves his panda from Auntie Dorothy and Uncle Stan, and it is especially funny when it moves and makes noise (via daddy).

Go Car Go

Shenanigans

Wow, it has been so long since I wrote everyone. Luckily my mama has been keeping everyone up to date on all my shenanigans. Oh and there have been some good shenanigans. . .

Let's start with this hair of mine, I know, chick magnet. Sometimes it really brings some good laughs to the grown ups I hang out with. Check out my after nap look. Pretty cute right?!

Lately I decided that I am going to just stand and stand and stand some more. Sometimes when I stand I lean forward onto one foot. Every time I do the whole room stops and watches me. I am not really sure what is going on there but they sure do love it when I stand and lean. It's almost as if they are waiting for me to do something more. What more is there to do than stand? Grown-ups, they are just so silly some times.

I eat big people food now too. Now that I have a few teeth I can really munch on all sorts of things like lima beans and meatballs. You would be amazed at how great book corners and the coffee table taste too. Try it some time, you will be surprised at how good it really is.

Hmm. . . what else? Oh yeah, I now spend most of my free time looking at books. All kinds really; books with trucks, books with babies, books with monkeys. Any book will do. Oh and I really would rather not be disturbed either. Sometimes Miss Christine tries to tell me that it is time to clean up and she starts taking all my books and putting them in the book bin. Really, what is she thinking. I just pull them back out as speedy quick as I can. Oh that makes me laugh to watch her try so hard to keep up with me. Sometimes I feel bad for her and just let her think she was faster than me. You know, you have to make grown ups think they are in charge once in awhile.

Well, I need to go find some more shenanigans. See ya later!

Love,

Hudson

Hudson's Funniest Home Video

Hudson learned how to do the stairs the steps backwards a few months ago, and now he is such a pro that he doesn't think twice about going down the steps to his room. But sometimes he gets a little overprepared! We are so glad we got this on video - priceless (and hysterical)!!

Getting organized

Hudson and Mommy are having a fun day playing, and Hudson just did
something he hadn't done before. He took all his puzzle pieces and put
them into the magazine rack. I'm not sure why, but he seemed quite
pleased. Of course, he also loves playing with the curtain, which
isn't quite as pleasing to Mommy.

Hudson's first birthday party

We had such a great time at our pancake breakfast party. Hudson slept through a good part of the party but woke up happy and ready to play with all the kids and balloons! Everybody said he was so handsome in his blue shirt and pinstripe pants from Aunt Barb and Uncle Ray. He didn't know what to think of his birthday cake and all the people taking pictures of him, but he did wonderfully and a great time was had by all.

Hudson loves his bubbles from cousin Truman!

Hudson playing around

Hudson got to open his card from Dee Dee a little early, and it has gotten a lot of use! It plays music, and Hudson can't get enough!

Dee Dee got Hudson a shopping cart for his birthday, and we opened it while Buela and Papa were here. So fun!

Hudson was looking a little scruffy, so Mom gave him his first real haircut on Saturday, while Baby Einstein kept him entertained!

Buela and Papa love playing on the floor with Hudson. Aunt Tracy's ball popper is still a huge hit! Every time he pushes the button, he looks over to make sure we are catching how cool it is.

Now look how handsome Hudson looks with his haircut and shirt from Aunt Barb.

His smile can melt you.

And when he's really concentrating and sticks out his tongue, well, we can't stand it. How will we ever discipline this face?
