Hudson found a ball & racquet on the playground today. So he quickly grabbed them and ran over to the tennis courts before starting to play with them. Of course it was more fun to kick the ball than throw or try to hit it with the racquet.

Polar Express
Hudson loved this ice sculpture of the Polar Express at the Broadmoor, but I don't think he quite understood that it was made out of ice. He kept making the oddest face every time he put his hands on the train, and immediately wanted to get down.

A fun locale to play cars
It is chilly in Colorado, so we have spent lots of time running thru lobbies, riding the alligator (elevator), etc. And playing cars on the edge of the fountain can entertain for hours!

Bus, Bus!!
Since getting a toy school bus during Buela's last trip, he can't go anywhere without it. (including bed.)
Today Hudson had a fun play date with Ms. Christine. While they were out he saw this bus, eagerly wanted to play with it, and said "Hello bus!"

Of Course I Can Feed Myself Yogurt
Buela is in Austin this week to help take care of Hudson while Kendra is in
Portland. Today Hudson showed her how he can feed himself yogurt at lunch.
He wasn't too sure about the interruption of lunch for a photo shoot though.

Morning Play Spot
Hudson discovered a fun spot to play with his cars this morning. It started when he needed to reach his truck that had rolled through the stool legs, so he proceeded to follow it under the stool. He spent 10 minute crawling in and out of the rungs.

Pumpkin patch
We took a quick trip to the Tarrytown Methodist Church pumpkin patch the other day.
Our friends the Haneys invited us, and we try and never pass up a little time with their darling daughter Abigail (as you can see, Hudson likes her too!).
Hudson wasn't too sure what to think about all these pumpkins...
But we were able to get a couple pics of the rascal.
