Just getting comfortable after reading books with Aunt Gail, a photo by Kendra & Kirk Wright on Flickr.
Pretty, yet deserted beach here. Too much undertow to swim, but 30,000 green sea turtles come here each year to lay their eggs along the 18km stretch of beach.
After 9 hours of traveling via 2 buses and a boat, needed a the boys needed a little hammock time by our cabin. Watching Frozen, the obvious choice over The Jungle Book since it is 80 degrees and we already are in the jungle. :)
How can you not enjoy 3 pools that are all filled with hot water heated by the volcano? The coolest pool was about 80. This one was in the 90s.
The falls are over 200 feet tall and have a nice swimming hole at the bottom. Luis was the only one that braved the cold water beyond his ankles. :)
