Zilker Trail of Lights
Hudson and his best buddy, Mathew, got to ride the Ferris wheel while going to see the Zilker Park Christmas Tree and the Trail of Lights. Beautiful night to be out for a walk, and great view of downtown.

We visited the aviation museum in Uvalde, Texas, yesterday. Hudson got to be James Bond by sitting in the Bede 5 Acrostar jet as seen in the opening scene of Octopussy.

Walking with Dinosaurs!
Pretty amazing "live-action" dinosaur show and educational too. Not quite life size, but pretty close. Hudson quickly figured out there were people controlling them which made it way less scary, although we both jumped two or three times. :)

Bee Cave Allstar Award
Hudson was presented with a Character Counts Award today for being an excellent role model.
Bee Cave Elementary includes character in their curriculum- Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring and Citizenship.
Of course when we asked Hudson why his teacher gave it to him, he responded, "I don't know. I'm not really sure how it even got in my backpack." We'll be following up with the teacher for details, but he has been getting great marks lately on his daily character color ratings. :)
