Hudson earned his first stripe on his white belt today.
He started taking a 4 & 5 yr old class in Life Ki-Do at the beginning of January. It blends martial arts with teachings about inner strength and spirit and honoring others in the same way.
Sensei Doug, who looks totally harmless (and a little goofy) in the picture, is a black belt in Karate and was previously ranked #1 in the state of Florida. Super nice guy who used to be a Montessori teacher. Amazing to watch him control a class of 12. They are all mesmerized.
